Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms apply to the iOS app Dear Later, made by LoopMade, and to this website. By installing and using the app, you agree to them.

2. Purchase and refunds

You buy the app once on the App Store. Payment, refunds, and restoring purchases follow Apple's terms and policies. Apple processes the payment, so the developer cannot refund you directly. Please request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

3. License to use

You may use the app on your own Apple devices for personal purposes. This license is non-exclusive and cannot be transferred. You may not copy and distribute the app, resell it, or take it apart beyond what the law allows. Anything these terms do not cover follows Apple's standard End User License Agreement.

4. Your content

You own the postcards, photos, text, and memos you create. The developer does not access this content and does not ask for any license to it. Whether to save or share a postcard image is entirely up to you.

5. Stamp illustrations and postmarks

  • The stamp and mascot illustrations in the app were made with AI tools and selected by people. They are not hand-drawn.
  • They are provided as part of the app. Copying or distributing them on their own outside the app is not permitted. Saving and sharing the postcards you make as images is fine.
  • The post office name shown in a postmark is decorative text you choose. It is not an official postmark of any real post office or postal service.

6. Data and backups

The app saves to your device first and syncs through iCloud when it is on. Data can still be lost through a lost device, an iCloud problem, or deletion by you. For postcards that matter, we suggest keeping a ZIP backup of your own with Export in Settings.

7. No warranty

The app is provided as it is. We cannot promise it will always work without errors. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the app, and total liability is limited to what you paid for the app. Rights that consumer protection laws give you are not reduced by this section.

8. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the changed terms.
